Jelly Roll Rug Class
Join Karen for a 2 part jelly roll rug class.
Students must bring the following:
Sewing machine (must be able to do a zig zag stitch)
42 - 2.5'' x 42'' strips of cotton or flannel
New spool of thread to blend or match your fabric. (This rug takes a LOT of thread)
50 yards of 2.5'' batting strips
Jelly roll tube tool
Seam ripper
Scissors
Prior to class homework:
Sew 2.5'' strips of fabric together, end to end with a diagonal seam.
Trim seams and press open to make one continuous strip of fabric.
